Tari is our first dog to be officially placed into service. His training has been extensive and has included numerous trips to San Francisco as well as a flight (in the cabin) to Texas for 5 days. We are happy to have him working with someone who loves him as much as he does her.
Polly is also turning out to be an amazing dog. Since she was a pup, we have been teaching her to alert to sounds for a deaf or hard of hearing partner. As she has gotten a little older, we have found that she is capable of far more than that and we have included various tasks for wheelchair work to her list of abilities. We are taking applications for Polly and are specifically looking for a partner who is not only deaf, but relies on a wheelchair as well.

Starr is very bright and extremely loving. Her basic obedience is coming along very rapidly and she is a great retriever of objects. She traveled with me to the IAADP/ADI conference in Vancouver, BC the first of April, 2004 for a week. We are ready to train her with task specific abilities.
At less than a year old, Sprinx has already flown with us from coast to coast. We took her with us to the Assistance Dogs International Spirit Conference in Penn. Spirit Conference is a weekend workshop where Assistance Dog trainers from many different programs come together and share training and management ideas. Sprinx is a genuine love and we expect great things from her.

FoxyLady caught my attention the moment I saw her. Our usual practice is to foster a dog for two to four weeks while we decide if the dog has the qualities we are looking for before we officially adopt. She was released by her owners for reasons unknown and she does have a few behavior problems (like eating things that don't belong to her), but she shows a wonderful eagerness to learn and adapt. She has almost finished her first round of Basic Obedience and at a year old is finally getting some basic structure in her life, something she really seems to need and appreciate. It is probably going to take about a year to get her ready to go out, but I expect her to be an exceptional Service Dog for someone.
Trevor is an amazing bundle of pure love. Our goal is to put him in a walking harness so he can help to stablize our client when she is out and about. Rescued from the Paradise Animal Shelter, we are pleased to have him as part of the family.
