A brief biography of our board members:

Judy Robbins, President

Judy Robbins has spent more than 17 years, working with children, including children with disabilities, at locations that include Head Start and Marigold School. Judy also has a two-year background as an Eligibility Tech II where she performed eligibility interviews and provided case management for a variety of disablements. Judy was President of Adventist Singles Ministries, an organization run by volunteers that implements the provision of access and assistance procedures at special events.

Sean Plummer, Treasurer

Sean Plummer was born in San Jose, CA in 1955. Sean has been working with canines for 7 years. He gained his 2 year apprenticeship managing Midway Kennels in Durham, California. Sean has been certified as an Obedience Class instructor by Animal Behavior and Training Associates. After teaching basic obedience classes at Petco in Chico, CA for a year, Sean has been teaching obedience classes here at the center. He is also recognized as an evaluator by the American Kennel Club for their Canine Good Citizen test.

Kay Kenfield, Secretary

Edward Plummer, Board Member/Co-Founder

Edward Plummer was born in Towson, MD in 1920. Ed has degrees in Animal Husbandry, English and an MLS in Librarianship. He has been a Herdsman, Accountant, and a bank Administrative Trainee, later going on to be Assistant Manager at Crocker National Bank for 10 years. From 1967 to 1884, Mr. Plummer (Sir) was Reference Librarian at the Fresno County Library. Now retired, Ed utilizes his two dogs to head a Pet Therapy program and regularly visits local Alzheimer and nursing facilities.

Joan McDaniels , Board Member
